Meet for ride preparations 9:30 AM
at the Cambridge Main Library, 449 Broadway

Ride departs promptly at 10 AM

Ever notice that the city of Cambridge is shaped like a bow tie? Come see for yourself, at the Cambridge Bow Tie Ride!

Our tour through Cambridge starts at the Cambridge Main Library, 449 Broadway. We’ll meet at 9:30 AM for orientation and leave promptly at 10:00 AM. The ride will finish back where we started, on the library grounds, about two hours later.

It wouldn’t be a Bow Tie Ride without bow ties. We’re excited to be partnering once again with our friends at OoO Tie. Enter our drawing at the end of the ride for a chance to win a free bow tie.

Want to start the ride showing off your good taste by sporting a new bow tie? Shop at the OoO Tie website and get a 30% discount by using the check-out code BOWTIERIDE2016.

We’ll be cycling about 12 miles. The Cambridge police bike patrol clears the way for us, stopping traffic at intersections and holding lanes. To keep us rolling smoothly, bike techs from Cannondale Sports Store and Urban AdvenTours ride along to handle flat tires and other ride emergencies.

Both Cannondale and Urban AdvenTours will have tune-up stations at the library before the ride starts. To be sure that your bike is in good shape, arrive at 9:30 and they’ll make adjustments to improve your bike’s overall health.

We’re excited to have three excellent food sponsors. Enjoy snack bars from Trader Joe’s, delicious fresh burritos from Chipotle, and hummus, falafel, salad, and pita from the Middle East Restaurant.

Like all our tours, this ride is free of charge. Thanks to all our sponsors for their support.
