Ever notice that the city of Cambridge is shaped like a bow tie? Come see for yourself, at the Cambridge Bow Tie Ride!

Join us for 10½ scenic miles by bike, beginning at Cambridge Common, circling out to Fresh Pond, tying the knot in the heart of beautiful Brattle Street, looping around the MIT campus in the east, and ending at the main branch of the library on Broadway.

This year’s ride coincides with the HONK! parade and Oktoberfest. All three events focus on Harvard Square, where our ride begins and ends. Make October 2 your day to enjoy all the treats that Cambridge has to offer.

This will be a gorgeous Autumn ride, at an easy pace on mostly level terrain.

No rain date: Heavy rain cancels. Rain announcements will be posted here on the morning of the ride.

Like all our tours, this ride is free of charge. Wear a bow tie, or come as you are!
